About Mrs. B….
I was born and raised in central Ohio and relocated to Seattle, Washington in 2015. I found Seattle to be the forever home I never knew I was looking for. Shortly after relocating, I met Mr. B (Brandon) and we fell in love. Together, we started Mr. B’s Meadery. Eventually we opened our safe space tasting room in Fremont, Seattle! I consider the space to be our love child…it was born out of a combination of our talents and is a unique and unforgettable space with delicious mead to drink!
During COVID, I painted pet portraits for my friends in an attempt to make them smile in the gloom. I also painted the indoor sunset mural and started the slowly evolving and ever popular bathroom at the Fremont during COVID. My interest and passion in art was reignited! Everything in the Fremont space was designed and/built by Mrs. B! The outdoor mural is the largest thing I’ve ever painted.
I just started as an independent artist at the beginning of 2023. I never had much confidence in my art till the meadery space opened. All the love and awesome feedback I receive there gave me the boost I needed to move away from 9 to 5 and start doing my own thing.

Meet my tiny fury inspirations…
Jack Black
We adopted Jack from PAWS cat city in 2015 as a Christmas present for my avid animal loving son. Jack has been a bundle of joy ever since. Jack loves shoe strings and cat nip. He’s both a lover and a fighter. He definitely lives up to his namesake as he makes our family laugh and smile every day.
Gandalf the Black
We adopted Gandalf from PAWS cat city in 2019. He was in pretty bad shape back then due to an extended period in the shelter and massive neglect from his prior pet parents. When we adopted Gandalf he was 15 years old and gave him more love and affection than any other animal on the planet before he passed in July of 2023. He was definitely a lover and will forever hold a piece of our hearts.
Dream big little buddy….
Binx the Sink Gremlin
We adopted Binx from a shelter after not having a home for over 4 years. Binx was part Daddy Long Legs and part Velcro and always made us smile with his weirding ways... He loved to drink out of the sink upside down and then take a good ol’ nappy in the sink. Binx wasn’t with us for long but left a forever impression on my heart. Sadly, he passed in April of 2024…
