Requesting a Quote
If you’re interested in commissioning your own original canvas paintings, logo design, or mural installations, and would like a quote you can either contact me directly or fill out the form below.
Commissioned paintings are perfect for perking up a space! Bring your ideas to life and celebrating loved ones, both human and furry. As well as this, commissioned paintings are guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
As an artist I love being able to use my skills in a way that is meaningful for others. Helping clients to realize their ideas, through my art, is extremely rewarding.
To get in contact with me directly send me an email and I’m happy to discuss your ideas and provide a quote. Otherwise, feel free to tap on the button below to fill out the form and I will get in contact with you regarding your quote.
What happens next…
After submitting your form, I will contact you to provide you with feedback and a quote for your work. If you are happy with the price and wish to proceed, reference images will then need to be provided. Please keep in mind that depending on the reference images you can provide, some of your ideas/preferences for the painting may not be possible. Once I have a proper idea of your vision, I will notify you of the estimated start and completion times.
How does the payment process work?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to starting work. Once the deposit payment has been made and work has started, I will send you regular updates on the progress. Once the work has been completed, the remaining 50% is then paid and collection/shipping will be arranged.
The Prices
Commissions are quoted at an hourly rate; the bigger and more complex a design, the more it will cost. Murals are charged at a day rate. Quotes will also include a concept, materials, and postage fees.
My process
1. Sketches
Based your description, I will begin the commission process by first creating a rough sketch with a focus on composition rather than details. This is the stage in the drawing with the most freedom to make changes. You may request up to 5 different sketches.
2. Initial Painting/Color work
During this stage, I will finalize the thumbnail and begin painting the canvas or digital work with flat areas of color. Color change requests can be made in this stage, but should keep in mind the exact shades of the color may look a little different in the rendering phase, when I will add shadows and highlights.
3. Shadows, Highlights, Finishing touches
At this phase, most of the important changes are in place and I’m adding the final touches to the artwork. Things like magic effects/glows are added in this final stage.
Requesting Changes and updates
I will send the you photos of the artwork as I complete each stage of the drawing, allowing time for you to respond with revision requests. I will then incorporate the changes as appropriate, send another update and repeat this process until the project has been completed. As the artwork progresses, you may not request changes to a previously agreed upon step.
Timeframe for completion
Most small and medium sized works take 2-3 weeks to complete from starting. Larger paintings and murals can take over a month to complete. The level of detail and number of figures in the painting also have an affect on timeframe.
When I am able to start your painting depends on how busy my schedule is and how many other commission bookings are queued. I will give you an estimated date as to when I will be able to start your piece and whether or not it is possible for me to complete the painting in time for your deadline (if you have one).
All commissions, unless specified, will take no longer than 60 days to complete.
